This was only my 2nd year on this ride, but it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites. Mike goes above & beyond with this one. The trails, great food & gear portage, are freaking amazing. I ride several of these rides a year & this is truly one of the best! Such a great time!!!
By Jason B for San Andreas 300 on May 16, 2025
Overall I enjoyed the San Andreas 300 and will consider going again in upcoming years. Pros: - There were approximately 70 riders and the people were friendly and welcoming. I was a solo rider and several groups of riders welcomed me into their riding group and their after-ride hangouts. - The dinners were hearty and good. Lots of food. - The location of the second night was spectacular. It was at Song Dog Ranch and I would highly recommend a stay here for anyone wanting a unique and quality camping experience. The owners of the ranch were fantastic. Cons: - The business side and hospitality side of the even could use some improvements. The leadership team was good, but there were a few thing which could have made it better. Ideas: - A water station for filling up hydration packs. - Better communication if you have questions. Especially for newbies to these events. - Organized activities at the camp site. Simple stuff like Cornhole, silly games, etc. would encourage people to mingle more (especially to help solo riders integrate into the group). - A lot more water bottles. Interestingly, beer was easy to get, water, not so much. - Better organization of getting camping gear and fuel back to the original campsite at the same time. We had to wait over an hour for the fuel to get back to camp so we could begin our journey home. Closing: As stated above. I enjoyed the trip and will consider additional rides from Exit Tours. Especially as they work to improve some things.

This was well worth riding in. Rider-focused and lots of attention to laying out good trails. The food was great, plenty of all you need. Lots of interesting riders to meet.
