Itinerary

Wickenburg Adventure
Wick Dual Sport Adventure Ride

Wickenburg, Arizona fills an interesting chapter in the history of Arizona and the West.

  • Though less than an hour away (54 freeway miles) from the hustle and bustle of modern Phoenix.
  • Arizona’s most western community stands guarded from the metropolitan masses.

  • With all the widespread OHV  closures, knowing where to go and how to get the best out of your riding  day is now more valuable than ever before.

We have scouted out the best routes and eliminated the dead ends, private property fences and U-Turns at closed routes.

  • Since you will be self-navigating the route with Ride with GPS Tracks, there is no official start time.
  • You may start any time you wish, though typically we like to see everyone on the trail before 9 am.
  • We do not ride in large groups.

  • We insist everyone use the Buddy System and look out for each other throughout the day.
  • There are no guides.

On the variety of loops, riders will spread out, yet get to know new people.

  • Find new riding partners and enjoy the great camaraderie of your fellow enthusiasts.

  • The Club gives you options for gas stops, makes arrangements for lodging, meals & camping. Does the logistics work for a fun and efficient 3-4 days of riding.

  • If you want good challenges,  the best balance of roads, trails, and incredible scenery, and a fun  time, with no work putting it all together, this is it.

  • The Wick Dual Sport, Singletrack & ADV ride will be limited to 50 club members.

The Bradshaw Mountains are located north of Wickenburg and south of Prescott.

  • The Bradshaw’s have long been known for being one of the most mineralized mountain ranges in the world.

  •  There is one 250+ Mile Adventure Loop you could turn it into a 2 Day ride and spend the night in Historic Jerome, AZ.

  • The Wick Dual Sport is a Classic Club ride. You won’t find games, talks, or seminars.
  • You will find the camaraderie of like-minded enthusiasts around a Campfire, and the pool and a good time.

Navigation is by Cell Phone compatible Ride with GPS Tracks.

Reviews

This is a top notch offload motorcycle tour company. The owner is extremely experienced and has deep historical knowledge of the areas we rode in. It adds a very cool color element to the trip. There are rides for all abilities. Be honest with your abilities. The accommodations and food are first class.

This was only my 2nd year on this ride, but it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites. Mike goes above & beyond with this one. The trails, great food & gear portage, are freaking amazing. I ride several of these rides a year & this is truly one of the best! Such a great time!!!

Overall I enjoyed the San Andreas 300 and will consider going again in upcoming years. Pros: - There were approximately 70 riders and the people were friendly and welcoming. I was a solo rider and several groups of riders welcomed me into their riding group and their after-ride hangouts. - The dinners were hearty and good. Lots of food. - The location of the second night was spectacular. It was at Song Dog Ranch and I would highly recommend a stay here for anyone wanting a unique and quality camping experience. The owners of the ranch were fantastic. Cons: - The business side and hospitality side of the even could use some improvements. The leadership team was good, but there were a few thing which could have made it better. Ideas: - A water station for filling up hydration packs. - Better communication if you have questions. Especially for newbies to these events. - Organized activities at the camp site. Simple stuff like Cornhole, silly games, etc. would encourage people to mingle more (especially to help solo riders integrate into the group). - A lot more water bottles. Interestingly, beer was easy to get, water, not so much. - Better organization of getting camping gear and fuel back to the original campsite at the same time. We had to wait over an hour for the fuel to get back to camp so we could begin our journey home. Closing: As stated above. I enjoyed the trip and will consider additional rides from Exit Tours. Especially as they work to improve some things.
