X-Roads BV is 6 DAYS STAGING, RIDING AND CAMPING FROM PRIVATE PROPERTY WITH ARKANSAS RIVER ACCESS. 

AT THE RIVER PARK MINE 3 MILES FROM DOWNTOWN BUENA VISTA, IN THE VERY HEART OF THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS. CAMPING IS INCLUDED.  

OVER 40 PHONE COMPATIBLE GPS TRACKS FOR MULTIPLE DUAL SPORT, SINGLETRACK AND ADVENTURE LOOPS. ALL LOOPS CLOVERLEAF FROM STAGING.

The stunning town of Buena Vista means “Beautiful View” in Spanish.  It is located in Chaffee County between Salida and Leadville.  

ANY LIKE-MINDED ENTHUSIASTS CAN JOIN THIS LIMITED ENTRY CLUB RIDE.

SEVERAL MEALS,T-SHIRT, COFFEE CUP, AND INFINITY POOL HOT SPRINGS SUNDAY NIGHT AT MT. PRINCETON HOT SPRINGS ARE INCLUDED.

Short history of BV in case you are interested!

Buena Vista, sits at an elevation of 7,960 feet IN THE HEART OF THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS. Surrounded by the Continental Divide and the Mosquito Range. Spanish and Anglo explorers would arrive beginning in 1725. 

 It was the Colorado Gold Rush  of 1859 that brought many changes to the territory that would lead to  the founding of Buena Vista. The first settlements began in 1864 as farms. 

Starting in 1879, the great silver boom at Leadville,  approximately 35 miles to the north, greatly stimulated the communities  of the Arkansas River Valley. 

The Denver & Rio Grande Railroad laid tracks to Leadville in 1880. That same year, a second rail line, the Denver, South Park & Pacific Railroad, also came through Buena Vista on its way to the  booming silver camp to the north. 

Then came the Colorado Midland. At one time 3 Railroads passed through Buena Vista.

Early on, Buena Vista was populated by a rough element in the way of feisty miners and burly railroad workers.  Buena Vista continued to grow as an important supply and transportation hub for nearby mining districts. 

As of 1883, town residents had their choice of nearly four dozen businesses and services, three hotels, two lumberyards, a local newspaper and even an opera house. 

Local entertainment was found in the way of 13 saloons and a dance hall, as well as two bowling alleys and two undertakers. 

One bank, one church and one fire station were on hand for more respectable citizens. There was no school.  

In 1885 “Cockeyed Liz,” decided to open her own house of prostitution in Buena Vista. The lady’s  “House of Joy” was well known on Main Street for several decades.

 River Raft with Independent Whitewater on the Arkansas River on Monday if you wish.

• River Raft the Arkansas River through Brown’s Canyon on Monday with Independent Whitewater.
• Includes transportation. 
• Pick up at 8:15 AM and drop off at the staging area, with a Breakfast burrito and safety gear. 
• Link to Rafting Brown’s Canyon with Independent Whitewater on Monday August 11 

X-Roads BV AUGUST 7-12 '25 

With all the widespread OHV closures, knowing where to go and how to get the best out of your riding  day is now more valuable than ever before.  

If you want good challenges, the best balance of roads, trails, and incredible scenery, and a fun time, with no work putting it all together, this is it...

• We have scouted out the most outstanding routes and eliminated the dead ends, private property fences and U-Turns at closed routes.
• Since you will be self-navigating the route with GPS Tracks, there is no official start time, you may start any time you wish. Ride with whomever you wish.
• Typically we like to see everyone on the trail before 9 am. 
• We do not ride in large groups. 
• We insist everyone use the Buddy System and look out for each other throughout the day. There are no guides to wait on.
• The club will provide a Chase Truck in the event of any issues on the trail

There are no required meetings, workdays or politics to join Exit Tours Motorcycle Club. 

• Any Like-minded enthusiast may Join. 
• Your Dad, adult children, wife or anyone you share a last name with may ride with a Club Member for Only $325. 
• Show up on the 6th or 7th of August and stage. 
• Ride & camp for 6 days from private property right in the Heart of the Rocky Mountains.
• X-Roads BV stages on a Spectacular piece of private property with private Arkansas river access and 2 tree-lined creeks.

• Entries are Limited so you will not get lost in the crowd, and to comply with USFS regulations for a club event.
• On the variety  of loops, riders will spread out, yet get to know new people, find new  riding partners and enjoy the great camaraderie of your fellow enthusiasts.
• We give you options for gas stops, make arrangements for meals & camping, and do  most of the logistics work for a fun and efficient 5-6 days of riding.
